After the two shot injection mold is manufactured, KRMOLD uses a variety of inspection methods to ensure that the two shot injection mold meets the customer's expectations in terms of performance and product quality.
(1) Two shot injection mold Inspection
First, KRMOLD staff will check whether the mold is equipped with a vacuum guide and confirm whether the guide is positioned correctly. Next, the two shot injection mold's positioning block is adjusted to keep it level with the injection molding machine base. This step also includes confirming the number of mold cavities, injection molding process parameters, and whether the cooling water and exhaust channels are intact. These preparatory steps ensure that the two shot injection mold can operate normally during the test process and avoid problems with the two shot injection mold itself affecting subsequent test results.
(2) Two shot injection mold installation and debugging
Afterwards, KRMOLD staff will install and debug the two shot injection mold. This process includes fixing the two shot injection mold on the injection molding machine and adjusting the clamping height and parting position. During installation, it is necessary to ensure a tight fit between the two shot injection mold and the machine to prevent problems such as loosening or misalignment. During the debugging process, KRMOLD staff will adjust the two shot injection mold's temperature, pressure, speed and other parameters according to the product's process requirements to ensure that the quality of the final product and production efficiency are optimal.
(3) Two shot injection mold trial start-up
After the two shot injection mold installation and debugging are completed, the mold trial will be started. Before this, the material pipe must be cleaned to prevent degraded adhesive or impurities from entering the two shot injection mold. At the same time, check whether the plastic material in the barrel meets the requirements and ensure that it has been baked as required. These steps are crucial to ensuring product quality. During the mold trial, KRMOLD staff need to patiently wait for the machine and two shot injection mold conditions to stabilize, which usually takes a certain amount of time for the two shot injection mold to reach the appropriate working temperature.
